【百道编按】去年，学乐图书俱乐部编辑预测2017年能够带给孩子们欢笑的童书最受欢迎，而他们推出的幽默童书《Dog Man》果然蝉联纽约时报畅销书榜52周之久。今年，学乐图书编辑再次大胆预测，明年的童书创作将呈现五大趋势。

阅读的时候，孩子们最想从书里看到什么？到了2017年年底，学乐图书俱乐部的编辑们基于他们全年为孩子们荐书的经验对于2018年儿童文学的趋势再次做了预测。过去一年中，他们的推荐让越来越多的孩子在合适的时间发现了适合自己读的图书，从而培养起了对于独立阅读的热爱。俱乐部主席朱迪•纽曼（Judy Newman）说，“我们去年预测，孩子们喜欢能让他们发笑的书，就像《Dog Man》，迄今已经在纽约时报畅销书榜上待了超过52周了，它同样也是学乐图书俱乐部最受欢迎的书籍之一。现在越来越多的父母会花时间和孩子一起大声读书，一起欢笑，并与孩子的老师密切合作通过书来搭建家校联系。我们期待看到今年的预测如何在2018年应验。”

以下就是来自俱乐部编辑的2018年童书五大前沿趋势：

1. 更多图书会以坚强的女性角色为主人公

《儿童和家庭阅读报告：第六版》研究发现，孩子们在兴趣阅读时喜欢“聪明、勇敢或坚强”的人物。预计将来会看到以能成为男孩和女孩行为榜样的强悍女性为主人公的新小说。此外，很多非虚构新书也会讲述那些缔造历史的著名女性以及当下持续推动社会进步的变革者的故事。

2. 对儿童非虚构图书的需求还将持续增长
